SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and is represented by a dosing system and a method of making the dosing system. Dosing system for distribution of an agricultural product in the field contains a drive inlet and a rotary shaft assembly connected with the drive inlet and driven by the drive inlet. Dosing system also comprises the first dosing section driven by the rotary shaft assembly and at least two additional dosing sections. Each additional dosing section can be selectively engaged for actuation of corresponding additional dosing section by the rotary shaft assembly. Each additional dosing section can be selectively disengaged to stop actuation of corresponding additional dosing section by the rotary shaft assembly while the first dosing section stays in action. Method of making the dosing system involves connection of at least two additional dosing sections with the rotary shaft assembly via coupling units. Herewith each additional dosing section can be selectively engaged for actuation of corresponding additional dosing section by the rotary shaft assembly and disengaged to stop actuation of corresponding additional dosing section by the rotary shaft assembly while the first dosing section stays in action.
EFFECT: invention enables to eliminate unneeded consumption of the distributed material.
