FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regulators of process medium, particularly to driven ones. Process medium regulator comprises casing with inlet and outlet hole for medium, which are connected to medium flow path. Control element is located on the path of medium flow, which interacts with the seat to regulate medium flow through controller housing. Drive attached to controller housing provides force for movement of control element relative to the seat. Drive comprises housing and inner diaphragm dividing the drive housing into top and bottom chambers. Drain valve of high pressure is attached to the lower chamber for discharge of residual gas which creates additional volume for process medium in the lower chamber.
EFFECT: technical result provides higher efficiency and rate of process medium regulator response.
