SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power electronics and is designed to control voltage and power in high-power low-voltage single-phase resistive heaters of various electrothermic plants. Method of controlling voltage and power, using transistor converter consisting of input three-phase diode rectifier, smoothing LC-filter DC link and single-phase transistor bridge inverter, the output of which is connected to LC-filter of alternating current, characterized by that transistor converter supplies voltage resistive heaters through standard step-down single-phase transformer sinusoidal voltage with frequency in one and half times higher than the frequency of feeding three-phase network.

EFFECT: objective of suggested invention consists in elimination of disadvantages associated with misalignment of phases and reduction of power factor, present during formation of output voltage sinusoid of transistor converter with a standard frequency 50 Hz.
