FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: conveyor belt contains core layer (2) located between upper covering rubber layer (5) and lower cover rubber layer (6). Core layer is made of many steel cords (3), coated with shock-absorbing rubber and arranged in parallel. Adjacent steel cords of the core layer are connected by shock-absorbing rubber, maximum thickness of which is not more than 1/3 of nominal diameter of steel cords. Thickness of the shock-absorbing rubber, which covers the outer circular surface of steel cords, is equal to thickness of the shock-absorbing rubber placed between adjacent steel cords. Rubber, which forms the lower rubber covering layer is a rubber with low losses, which has a loss value tanδ, making 0.07 or less at frequency of 10 Hz, 2 % of dynamic deformation and at temperature of 20 °C.
EFFECT: conveyor belt allows reducing running resistance during conveyor operation caused by movement along the support rollers.
