FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to traumatology and orthopaedics. Three days after surgery a back plaster splint is applied in the position of back flexion in the wrist joint and maximum possible active flexion in the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. In one day a palmar plaster splint is applied in the position of palmar flexion in the wrist joint and maximum possible active extension in the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. Said position of fingers is daily alternated for seven days, position of fingers is alternated twice a day with fixation of the splint for 7-10 days. Immobilization is stopped and active flexion-extension movements are started without load for two weeks. Five weeks after surgery load is given using a foam ball, in seven weeks load is increased up to 2-3 kg.
EFFECT: method improves the results of treating tendon injuries of deep tendon flexors by performing early postoperative finger movements.
