According to one embodiment ripper tooth protector contains first edge, second edge, central face surface arranged between first and second edges, rib extending outward from central face surface, wherein its height increases on said rib front half, as well as first boss of protector made at first edge, and second boss made at first edge. At that, second boss of protector comprises open slot, providing possibility of said slot installation on mounting lug, projecting from ripper tooth surface. At that, open slot moves aside from central face surface.

EFFECT: increased ripper tooth service life.
