FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road vehicles and can be used in designs of combination vehicles. Trailer hitch consists of hook with rod and folding lock arranged on frame cross-member using damping spring. Hook rod is articulated with bracket. One of bracket sections on its inner surface has teeth coupled with gear. Gear is rigidly fixed on flexible rod arranged fixed in vehicle frame transverse plane. Flexible rod ends have splines interacting with mating splines made on bushings. Bushings have rectangular cross section and are movably installed in frame cross bar guides. Each of bushings is also articulated with drawbar hook rod bracket by means of hinges and links.
EFFECT: reduced dynamic loads at automotive tractor and trailer coupling point, hence, their higher reliability.
