FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to synchronous generators excitation automatic voltage regulators (AVR). AVR contains voltage sensor, reference voltage element, comparison circuit on comparator, PWM-modulator, transistor switch, double-wave rectifier. AVR output is connected to exciter stator winding, and two inputs are connected one is to generator two phases second half-winding via voltage transformer, and other is connected to generator phase first half-winding. Control element is transistor, in-series connected with exciter stator and connected to double-wave rectifier. Transistor switching from rectified voltage previous half-wave rear part to next half-wave front part is performed by PWM-modulator.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of AVR circuit with increase in accuracy of synchronous generator output voltage maintaining and provision of generator required parameters in normal operating modes and overloads.
