SUBSTANCE: invention relates to simulation of power systems objects. Device consists of a central processor, a switching processor, an analog-to-digital conversion processor, a multichannel analog-to-digital conversion unit, a DC insert AC first side simulation unit, a DC insert AC second side simulation unit, a DC circuit simulation unit. DC insert AC first and second sides simulation units are made identical, and each has a transformer simulation unit, a reactors simulating unit, a filter simulating unit, a static voltage converter simulating unit, a digitally controlled longitudinal switching unit.

EFFECT: technical result is providing real-time playback of a continuous spectrum of normal and abnormal operation processes of the DC insert and its structural elements, as well as control, including functional one, over their parameters.
