FIELD: digital communications; information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital communication and voice processing techniques in the conditions of noise masking. Method of classifying noisy voice segments involves multispectral analysis for partial noise suppression by increasing adequacy of the signal Fourier spectrum, which is restored from evaluation of the processed noisy voice signal bispectrum; further, basing on the initial voice signal and standardized Fourier spectrum in each segment identified is presence/absence of classification features of the voice signal and weight coefficients, performed is their correction using the hierarchy procedure and at the final stage a decision is taken upon the issue of associating the segment to typical groups, as per the comparison results formed is a sequence of symbols indicating the typical groups.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of classifying noisy voice segments as per typical classification groups.
