FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves harvesting hardwood cuttings with subsequent rooting under conditions of high humidity and the subsequent completion of growing. In order to increase the plant yield the hardwood cuttings are used, which consist of two nodes and two internodes. The hardwood cuttings are planted with embedding of the lower node by 2.5-5.0 cm. The sprouts developed from the side (lateral) buds, after the formation of adventitious roots on them, are separated and grown as independent plants.
EFFECT: efficient reproduction of valuable specimen of European elder.
