FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition for the production of covering materials for greenhouses used for growing plants in protected grounds. The composition comprises a polymer, preferably a polycarbonate, a luminescent filler - luminophor with blue emission color in the spectral region of 380-510 nm and the excitation region of 250-380 nm, for example, FK-1 and/or red emission color in the spectral region of 580-710 nm and the excitation region of 200-600 nm, for example FL-626. The composition may contain a light-scattering additive regulating the growth and photosynthetic response of plants. As the light-scattering additive the composition comprises a colored master-batch, which is a mixture of a polymer, preferably a polycarbonate with a dye, which contains one of the groups of colors as per RAL 4001 or 4006, or 4012, RAL 3000 or 3016, or 3033, RAL 2000 or 2005, or 2012, with a certain weight ratio of the components.

EFFECT: invention provides a covering material with a luminescence light of the required wavelength to obtain the most favorable conditions for development of plants in the greenhouse for the entire growing and maturing season while increasing the productivity of plants, such as tomatoes, increasing the number and average weight of fruits per plant and therefore marketable yield of fruits.
