FIELD: transportation, aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular, to compound helicopter designs. The fast speed convertible compound helicopter (FSCCH) comprises a trapezoid wing, having on cantilevers the propulsion bearing helical systems with two engines, a tial unit with a horizontal tail plane and a tricycle wheel landing gear. The FSCCH is equipped with a multipropeller system of spaced traction, having two smaller propellers, installed on integral rotary cantilevers of a V-shaped tail plane, and two large ones, mounted on the output shafts of cantilever gears, each installed in an overwing fairing at the end edge of the lower wing. The hollow fixed support is installed coaxially inside the shaft of the lifting propeller, which is stiffly fixed by its lower end to the body, and the upper part of the support protruding from the shaft is fixed in the underwing fairing of the upper wing. The FSCCH may convert the flight configuration of the four-propeller lifting system from the helicopter into the flight configuration of the winged autogyro or compound helicopter with a two-propeller propulsion system.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased actual load and weight ratio, reduced required power for longitudinal balancing while hovering and improved longitudinal balance.
