FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: recirculation system of hot gas flowing through a gas turbine, generally comprises a transition tube with a surface located downstream, a stationary nozzle assembly with a front edge surface positioned adjacent to the transition tube surface located downstream, the gap limited between the transition tube surface located downstream and the nozzle edge surface of the stationary nozzle assembly, and a projection with an inner arcuate surface that is separated radially from the outer surface. The projection extends generally from the front edge surface of the stationary nozzle unit to the transition tube surface loated downstream and at least partially reduces the gap. In this case the seal, which can contact with the transiton tube and the front edge surface of the stationary nozzle unit passes through the clearance. The recirculation zone may be limited, at least partially between the inner arcuate surface of the projection, the front edge surface of the stationary nozzle unit and the transition tube surface located downstream.
