STEPPER ELECTRIC DRIVE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H02P8/14

Abstract RU 2610713 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to the positional DC drives, and can be used for the automation of machine tools, electromechanical robots, to control rocket missile rudders, as well as in other radio systems, mechanisms, automation and computer technology. Stepper electric drive comprises a stepper motor, each phase winding of which is connected to the output terminals of the semiconductor bridge converter, upper power switches of which are bypassed with free-wheeling diodes and connected to the first terminal of the DC supply voltage, and lower power switches connected to the first terminal of the current sensor, a second terminal of which is connected to the second terminal of the DC supply voltage and to first terminals of the free-wheeling diodes, the second terminals of which are connected respectively to first and second output terminals of the semiconductor bridge converter, power switches control inputs of which are connected to outputs of the control unit, containing logic control pulse distributor of bridge converter and PWM unit for current stabilization of the stepper motor phase, which consists of the trigger with synchronization pulses fed on synchronization input, and the comparator, the output of which is connected to the reset input of the trigger, first input - to the first output of the current sensor, and second input - to the reference voltage source, wherein the gating input is introduced in the comparator and coupled to an synchronization input of the trigger.

EFFECT: increasing reliability of the stepper motor control when exposed to a large amount of interference as a result of moments of switching the motor windings.
