FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making ceramic bricks without application of clay material. Manufacturing method consists in preparation of raw stock consisting of river sand with particle size of no more than 0.5 mm and humidity of no more than 7 %, preliminarily treated for at least 72 h at temperature of 40–50 °C with sulfite lye taken in ratio of 4:6 to sand, then mass with help of pressing is formed into bricks at specific pressure no less than 40 MPa, which are then dried to moisture content of no more than 5 % and fired in furnace by slow lifting of temperature to 1,100°C for at least 3 hours and curing for at least 45 min at maximum temperature, then bricks are cooled for at least 16 h.
EFFECT: technical result consists in recycling of large-capacity TNT production in making of ceramic bricks, wider raw material base for production of bricks, while preserving quality.
