SUBSTANCE: fruit picker comprises a cutting mechanism, a mesh or a cloth bag for receiving fruits, a telescopic arm with a tensioning cord positioned inside it. The cutting mechanism is sharpened on one side in the form of the blade and on the other - in the form of saw teeth having a wedge-shaped gap for inserting and cutting the fruit, combined with adished lid of the fruit harvester, provided with a return spring and a cord passing through the telescopic arm, unreeling at its upstroke at the height of a fruiting tree and rolling up at its end when the fruit harvester with fruits is lowered by a spring mechanism, operating on the principle of spring tape measure.
EFFECT: design simplification, optimisation of maintainability and increased workforce productivity.
