FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling equipment, specifically for drilling insert bits. According to the method of selective assembly of insert bit, the paws and a roller shall be pre-numbered, one shall measure the size of a paw on the paw support, a roller on the roller support, shall be entered into the personal computer (PC), where a special program selects the optimal combination of paws and rollers numbers, then bit sections shall be collected and welded. One shall pre-measure the thickness of slotted plugs, washers and caps tp, tw, tc, enter them into the computer, calculate diametric gaps for all possible combinations of paws and rollers of large and small insert bits, linear gaps of large and small sliding support of insert bit and geometrical parameters of washers, slotted plugs and caps, then the software generates a table with the optimal combination of numbers of paws and rollers, and the minimum necessary clearances of slotted plugs, washers and caps for an insert bit are determined as per some mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: invention can improve a resource of insert bit support.
