FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: borehole pump contains a gas separator. The pump housing is divided by a partition into two cavities. The water seal is formed between the lower part of the housing and the partition. The input window for pumped downhole fluid is located on the housing above the water seal. The degassing chamber is formed between the input window and the water seal. The input window for the pumped borehole fluid is at the same time the output window for the separated free gas from the degassing chamber. The degassing chamber is equipped with the degassing device of forced degassing.
EFFECT: increase or decrease in the borehole fluid flow cross section in the form of alternating partitions, perforated grills or flow swirl, increase of the pump efficiency and reduction of the gas generation in the pump chamber, it can work with any type of downhole plunger pumps manufactured.
