FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: application of a taurine derivative, N-isopropylamide-2-benzylamine ethanesulfonic acid hydrochloride as a hepatoprotective agent for prevention of acute or chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis. Pre-clinical testing of drug showed lower intensity of infiltrative-sclerotic lesions and steatosis, hepatocytes necrosis frequency.
EFFECT: N-isopropylamide-2-benzylamine ethanesulfonic acid hydrochloride is not worse than Carsil in terms of hepatoprotective activity and can find application in medical practice.
