FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device for prestressing of cylindrical spring comprises a matrix with a cylindrical cavity and coaxially disposed punch of cylindrical shape with the rigidly secured to it a circular plate shape. The plate with a circular shape is adapted place the spring in the cavity between the die and the punch with the possibility of punch compression spring by its limited longitudinal movement with force action. The cylindrical surfaces of the die cavity and the punch are formed with screw grooves to house therein the compressed spring coils.

EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of operating means.
