FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the geophysical well logging and allows to determine the electrical resistivity of the formations located behind the steel cased well column. Content: the method uses a probe consisting of two current electrodes and several measuring electrodes (at least three). Current from the highly stable DC power is applied alternately to each current electrode against the grounding electrode located on the earth surface, and the voltage measurement is made between each measuring and adjacent electrode, at the same time accurate measurement of the power supply output voltage is made. Digitization and digital processing of the measured signals are carried out. The resistivity at one or more points (depending on the number of the measuring electrodes) is determined by the respective formula.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of the geophysical well logging.
