FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: raw water is pretreated with ultraviolet radiation (1), physico-chemical treatment, including coagulant treatment, and water clarification by settling (2) are performed, the secondary treatment with ultraviolet radiation (4), and then disinfection with sodium hypochlorite (5) with a concentration of 7 mg/l is carried out for 60 minutes with settling (6) at least to a residual chlorine value of 0.4 mg/l. Ultraviolet radiation flux density at primary and secondary water treatment is 75 mJ/cm2.
EFFECT: high quality of purification, complete disinfection of initial natural waters, reduced consumption of sodium hypochlorite and exclusion of its overdose.
