SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, and may be used for medical instruments and materials sterilization. The multi-segment product for sterilization comprises a barrier segment made of permeable material providing barrier properties, side valves with gripping portions barrier segment folding and unfolding and a protecting segment. The barrier segment has longitudinal axis, dividing the product into the first and the second portion. The first portion of product extends from the longitudinal axis, including the first edge of the barrier segment and the side valve, setting its center of mass. The second portion of product extends from the longitudinal axis, including the third edge of the barrier segment and the side valve, setting its center of mass. The center of mass of the first product portion is closer to the first edge than to the longitudinal axis and the center of mass of the second portion is closer to the third edge than to the longitudinal axis. Each side valve has weight of more than 0.7938 g (0.028 ounces).

EFFECT: group of inventions allows reduction or elimination of the probability that the previously laid wrapper side for sterilization will be folded back onto the sterilized item during unfolding of the other wrapper areas that can cause sterility breach.
