FIELD: physics, instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to a metal device for heat accumulation used to accumulate thermal energy from an external source. This invention provides double insulation of the metal medium for thermal energy accumulation, which collects solar energy at high temperature (100 to 1300 degrees), and arrangement of the heat exchanger near the thermal energy accumulation metal medium, so that the working liquid can be heated for a long period of time, to provide a double-insulated metal medium for thermal energy accumulation, the medium input chamber provides double arrangement consisting of an insulating inner wall, insulating outer walls and insulating floor, respectively, on the inner, outer and floor side of the thermal energy accumulation metal medium; the outer wall concrete structure includes floor, central post, outer wall foundation and top coating, mirror for infra-red beams reflection is located under the top coating; and the vessel for thermal energy accumulation is exhausted which leads to blocking of air convection and heat transmission by air, providing minimum heat loss.
EFFECT: metal device enabling to accumulate thermal energy at high temperature accumulates high-temperature solar energy collected by the solar energy concentrator and other devices, and provides gradual release of heat, greatly increasing the accumulation of solar energy.
