FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: wet grinding of a stoichiometric mixture of barium carbonate and iron oxide is carried out in an acidic medium containing polyacrylic acid and isopropanol at the following ratio, wt %: polyacrylic acid 0.1-0.5, isopropyl alcohol 4-10, water 27-43, stoichiometric mixture of barium carbonate and iron oxide - the rest.

EFFECT: increased activity of the feed mixture by grinding ferrite components in the production of barium hexaferrite, which allows to lower the firing temperature, providing a specific magnetization, improved coercive force and residual magnetization by induction.
