FIELD: cosmetology.
SUBSTANCE: organopolysiloxane grafted polymer is proposed; it comprises organopolysiloxane segment as a main chain and a polymer segment derived from an unsaturated monomer as a side chain, wherein the polymer segment derived from an unsaturated monomer comprising repeating units derived from N, N-dimethylacrylamide in an amount not less than 50 wt % and not more than 100 wt %, and the content of the organopolysiloxane segment in the grafted polymer is not less than 10 wt % and not more than 70 wt %. The cosmetic for hair containing the mentioned grafted polymer is also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed grafted polymer is capable of forming a strong pleasant to the touch and non-sticky film and allows to obtain an effective means for fixing hair, impart a natural softness and appearance.
