FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: water-fuel emulsion (WFE) is produced for boiler plants by cavitational processing of water-fuel mixture in the cavitation tank. The water-fuel mixture in the cavitation tank is subjected to the impulsed electric current action, supplied to two electrodes, located in the cavitation tank, wherein the voltage value is equal to the water breakdown voltage in the water-fuel mixture. The water-fuel emulsion production system for boiler plants contains the supply tanks, which are connected to the cavitation tank, the other input of which is connected with the water supply pump, and the output is connected to the water-fuel emulsion supply system in the boiler plant. Two parallel plate electrodes are positioned in the cavitation tank, which are connected to the corresponding inputs of the impulsed voltage source through parallel connected capacitor to the electrodes and corresponding ballast resistance.
EFFECT: improved quality of WFE, production of more homogeneous and fine emulsion, as well as increasing the efficiency of the boiler by creating conditions for the most complete combustion of fuel oil.
