FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: tank made from a semi-rigid sheet material and comprising a main tubular body and a gable-shaped portion closing the body at its one end. Gable-shaped portion comprises an outer sealing edge, the first and the second diverging walls diverging inwardly from the said edge with respect to each other. At least the first wall has inner and outer surfaces complementarily curved outwardly, and comprises a pouring neck unit connected thereto, the first and the second gable walls each extending from the first to the second from the said diverging walls. Each of the gable walls comprises at least an upper part which has a substantially triangular contour in lateral projection, and its edge on the inner surface of the said first wall is curved and accurately conform to the shape of the said inner surface.
EFFECT: stable form of the tank due to improved support for its curved wall.
