FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of reducing the amount of radionuclides in soil includes introducing mineral and organic fertilizers, liming, sowing of agricultural crops. Zeolite-containing clays - alanite, leskenite and dialbeculitis - containing calcium within the range of 28-37%, with the medium reaction (ph) more than 8 are introduced on the contaminated soil by 1.5-2 t/ha of each component mixed with organic fertilizer (poultry manure) in the amount of 150-200 kg/ha. The resulting mixture is saturated with the 0.2% aqueous solution of potassium humate, followed by sowing the radioactive-accumulating crops of winter Camelina and Italian clover at the ratio of 1:2, and in spring, during the budding phase of the clover, the green mass is mowed and disposed of.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the technical solution costs and soil radiation in quite a short period.
