FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a cable feed mechanism, a cable bending mechanism and a mechanism for rotating the cable bending mechanism mounted on the frame. The cable transfer unit is made in the form of two rollers, with concave working surfaces facing each other for the cable accommodation. The cable bending mechanism is equipped with a rotation drive of one of the rollers and a cable feeding mechanism. The cable bending mechanism rotation mechanism is made in the form of a cantilever on which a cable bending mechanism is mounted, which can be rotated about the cable axis through a radial bearing. And the electric motors of all the device drives are located outside the zone of cable movement and its bending and are kinematically connected with the drive elements of the mechanisms. In this case, a cable feed mechanism is used which is made in the form of two pairs of cams rigidly connected to the drive shaft, each pair of cams is displaced relative to the other one by 180° and through pushers is connected to the transfer pins located along the tube and connected to slides made with grippers for cable movement in the interaction of the pushers with the cams working surface.
