SUBSTANCE: reflective side faces the sound-absorbing element to a plurality of solid state light sources. The sound-absorbing element comprises a plurality of holes extending from the reflective side to the opposite side of the sound-absorbing element. Each of the apertures is configured so that the projection aperture in a plane parallel to the sound-absorbing element is smaller than the smallest cross sectional area of the hole, wherein a cross section is perpendicular to the normal sound absorbing element. Soundabsorbing element comprises a first layer having a first pattern of holes, the second layer has a second pattern of apertures, and a third layer has a third pattern of apertures, wherein the second layer is disposed between the first layer and the third layer. The openings in the second layer are larger than the openings in the first layer and the holes in the third layer.
