FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: solution of fodder lysine is treated sequentially at the temperature of 70-80°C with hydrated lime and orthophosphoric acid to the pH of 7.0-7.2, the precipitate is separated by means of vacuum filtration, heavy metals are removed by passing the lysine solution through the ion-exchange column with Ku-2x8 resin in the lysine form. Thereinafter, the lysine solution is clarified on the column with IA-4 brightening phenol-formaldehyde resin cured with urotropine, and is dried on a spray dryer.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain highly purified L-lysine of the pharmacopoeia condition.
