FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves processing the concentrate with an acidic solution in the presence of cation exchanger, followed by separation of the production phosphoric acid from the cation exchanger containing calcium and impurity metals. Further regeneration of the cation exchanger is carried out with the transfer of calcium and impurity metals into the desorbate. Herewith a solution of phosphoric acid with a concentration of 5-38% wt % is used as an acidic solution, and the cation exchanger is a sulfoxid cationite in the amount of 100-125% of the cation metal content, which is stoichiometrically necessary for sorption. The method allows to obtain, for a single processing cycle, a production phosphoric acid of 41.05 wt % with a low content of cationic impurities. The extraction of phosphorus from apatite concentrate into a solution of phosphoric acid is 99.1-99.8%. Extraction of the REE into carbonate concentrate is 82.5-98.1%, and calcium and strontium in the sum of their carbonates is 84.4-96.0%.
EFFECT: increasing the content of rare-earth elements in the concentrate with high degree of extraction thereof from apatite.
