FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for automated measurement of the actual minimum area of the flow-through section of the flow-through part of blade passages of nozzle turbines, compressor rotors. In the method of measuring the actual minimum area of the cross-sectional area of the interblade channels, digitization or tomography is pre-performed to obtain three-dimensional data sets for each of the object channels. Then, each of the data sets is processed and positioned with each other. After the initial data is generated, a program is used to automatically determine the cross-sectional surface for each channel. Next, using the built-in functions of the program, which calculate the area of each of the surfaces, form a report with the values found and backup files.
EFFECT: due to the construction and determination of the minimum pass-through surface along the entire channel geometry, rather than individual points or dimensions, the accuracy of measuring the cross-sectional area increases.
