SUBSTANCE: temperature control method of piston groups and cylinders with an outside combustion chamber of a free-piston power module with a pump drive of a compressed air cooling system consists in the following: when the power module is operating at the time when the mass of the air compressed in the compressor cavities of the air power module's pistons enters the combustion chamber of the power module, a power module control system opens a valve for supplying air to the turbine from the compressor cavities of the power module's pistons, the air enters the turbine and drives the turbine in rotation. The turbine is connected to the fan and pump by shafts, the pump pumps the cooling liquid through the channels of the power module's piston groups for pumping the cooling liquid and through the channels of the cylinders with channels for pumping the cooling liquid of the power module, through the radiator and back to the pump. The cooling liquid transfers heat from the piston groups and cylinders of the power module to the radiator, the fan blows the radiator over which gives heat to the environment. The control system of the air temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the cooling liquid, and if the cooling liquid temperature is less than the optimum value, the control system closes the valve of air supply to the turbine.
EFFECT: temperature control of piston groups and cylinders of a free-piston power module with an outside combustion chamber with a pump drive of a compressed air cooling system.
