FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: polyethylene terephthalate material for single-layer light and oxygen-proof packages of milk and dairy products contains, %: titanium dioxide 3.5-4.0; nanoclay 0,03-0,05, polyethylene terephthalate - the rest. In another embodiment, the material, in addition to titanium dioxide and nanoclay, contains, wt %: light stabiliser 0.04-0.05; Antioxidant 0.01-0.02; Dispersant 0.125-0.15, polyethylene terephthalate - the rest. As a nanoclay, the material contains an organophilic nanoclay, as a dispersant - wax polyester, modified wax polyester, montanic wax or amide wax, as a light stabiliser - hydroxyphenyltriazine, benzotriazole or benzophenone UV absorber, and as antioxidant - phenolic antioxidant, a mixture of phenolic and phosphite or a mixture of phenolic and thioester antioxidants. To prepare the material according to the invention, the polyethylene terephthalate is first mixed with modifying concentrate in a ratio of 10:1 to 50:1, the mixture is extruded, the resulting melt is cooled to form as polymer strands, which are cut into granules. According to a first version, the modifying concentrate comprises polyethylene terephthalate, titanium dioxide and nanoclay, and in the second version, in addition to these components, the modifying concentrate comprises light stabiliser, antioxidant and dispersant.

EFFECT: inventions provide protection of packaged liquid food materials against rapid oxidation or degassing, and from harmful light irradiation in visible and ultraviolet regions.
