FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for protecting vegetating sunflower plants from the damaging effect of 2.4-D. Said plants are treated with an ethyl ether of 3-(2-methoxybenzoylamino)-4.6-dimethylthieno [2.3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid in the amount of 40 g/ha after 1 day after the use of the herbicide.
EFFECT: increasing the amount of the preserved sunflower crop.
