FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: boehmite grinding method includes application of a recirculating loop including recirculating tank 8 and cavitation dispersant 1, comprising a stator and a rotor to circulate the aqueous boehmite suspension. At that, controller 3 of rotor speed is used to provide the optimum cavitation pulses frequency at recirculation loop length ranging from 0.7 to 2 m. The optimal cavitation pulses frequency is selected in a range from 50 to 200 kHz. Boehmite slurry suspension concentration is from 100 to 400 g of boehmite per 1 liter of water. Boehmite suspension circulation is carried out for 20-40 min.

EFFECT: process allows simplified frequency selection procedure for destruction of boehmite particles aggregates in the resonance gap mode.
