FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method for vibration seismic survey is based on exciting and detecting seismic vibrations and includes correcting excited signals by increasing the relative intensity of the spectrum component for vibrations of interest. For this purpose, it is proposed to predetermine the maxima of the pulse wave spectra reflected from low-contrast hydrocarbon reservoirs and, when excitating vibrations, reduce the frequency change rate of the excited signal in the frequency bands containing the maxima of the target reflection pulse spectra. It is proposed to determine pulse spectra of target waves directly inside the medium by the method of vertical seismic profiling or by the model of the medium obtained by processing the field geophysical survey data (acoustic logging and other methods). In order to introduce the method into production, it is proposed to use existing technical means for adaptive vibration seismic survey.

EFFECT: improved isolation of reflections from low-contrast hydrocarbon reservoirs by more justified correction of the spectrum of excited vibrations, improved quality of vibration seismic survey data.
