FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a herbicidal agent by mechanochemical interaction of equimolecular amounts of a trialkylamine, in which, at least, one alkyl radical contains, at least, eight carbon atoms and glyphosate, the reaction being carried out in the presence of water. The reaction mass contains from 0.05 to 1 mole of water relative to the equimolecular amount of the trialkylamine and glyphosate.
EFFECT: invention allows to creat a herbicidal agent, which is a modification of glyphosate, with improved performance properties.
