FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the mass of solvent in oil- producing well is to measure the pressure of fluid column by known area. Moreover, the pressure sensor is located in the annular space of the well at deep-well pump area, the information from the pressure sensor is transferred to the well control station at the required frequency, and the solvent after it is fed to the annular space of the well is defined by the mathematical formula as the product of the magnitude of short-term pressure change (jump) times annular space area.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of well operation, complicated by formation of heavy oil components sediments inside parts of the deep-well pump and the tubing string.
