SUBSTANCE: method includes heat treating of pipe in a heat treatment line that includes a tempered heat treatment furnace, heat treatment equipment and a drawing furnace. Cutting compound, in which, prior to drawing, the heat-treated pipe is cooled to the temperature of 20°C or lower, is installed between heat treatment equipment and drawing furnace. Line comprises connected, tempered heat treatment furnace, heat treatment equipment and a drawing furnace. Transportation line, on one end or on the part of which cutting compound is placed, made with possibility to cool heat treated pipe to the temperature of 20°C or lower, is installed between heat treatment equipment and drawing furnace.

EFFECT: obtaining a seamless pipe made of high-strength stainless steel of stable quality.
