SUBSTANCE: method to determine whether the first type of fluid is used in the nebuliser contains the following stages: the result of measurement of time required for a nebuliser to atomize the specified volume of fluid contained therein is obtained; the time spent on atomizing of the specified volume of fluid is compared to the estimated value for the time required to atomize the same fluid volume of the first type; and determination whether the atomized fluid is the first type liquid is made based on the comparison. Device for use with the nebuliser, a nebuliser and a computer unit for nebuliser control are disclosed.

EFFECT: invention provides confirmation that the nebuliser is filled with the correct drug.
