SUBSTANCE: levelling separating device (10) for laying board-like products (P) for the surface facing, comprising a base (20) placed on the rear side of the laying surface of at least two board-like products (P) adjacent and adjoining with their sides lateral relative to the adjunction direction (A), and at least a separating element (30) projecting from said base (20) and made with the possibility to contact the lateral sides of the two board-like products (P) facing each other and to move between the storage position, in which it is placed substantially parallel to the base (20), and the working position, in which it projects substantially perpendicular to the base (20); the device feature is that it comprises means (250, 311) for locking the separating element (30) in the working position.
