SUPERSONIC CONVERTIBLE AIRPLANE WITH X-SHAPED WING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B64C30/00 B64C39/12 B64C37/00

Abstract RU 2632782 C1

FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: supersonic convertible airplane with X-shaped wing has an airframe according to the scheme of an integral unstable longitudinal triplane with a forward-swept wing, front horizontal tail, two bypass turbofan engines located in the nacelles between tailbooms, which have vertical fin with small tailplane halves on their outer sides. The airframe is equipped with a system of low-mounted wings with tip chords of the front and rear wings, placed in a plan at the front and at the rear of the flight from the respective root chords, and representing a combination of two wings with an X-shaped panel arrangement. The all-moving sweep rear wing panels have a symmetrical airfoil and are rotatable in a transverse plane around the longitudinal axis of the corresponding central part of spaced beam.

EFFECT: increased aerodynamic efficiency.
