FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: folding tool frame has seven sections in position for use in the field and nine sections in the folded position. The frame has a width of more than 27 meters. In the transportation folded position, the frame width is less than eight meters, and its height is less than six meters. Frames contain a hydraulic system for transferring the mass to the main or central frame section during folding and unfolding. The hydraulic system uses one or more accumulators to minimize the amount of oil reduction in the tractor tank caused by the extension of the hydraulic cylinders of the tool. The periods of the tool lifting and lowering cycles are minimized by providing the second auxiliary cylinder for lifting the main frame section when the mass of the entire tool is on the main section and by enabling the use of a smaller cylinder to lift the main frame section in the position to use cycles of lifting and lowering the tool for turns in the field for shorter time periods.
EFFECT: increased operating width of the tool frame, possibility of folding the tool into a smaller configuration for transportation.
