SUBSTANCE: method to control the LVDT-sensor including two secondary circuits is characterized in that it consists of iterative stages, in which: the difference (E1) between the voltages at the terminals of one of the secondary circuits at a given time and at a preceding time is calculated, the difference (E1) between the voltages at the terminals of the other secondary circuit at a given time and at a preceding time is calculated, the sum (E2) of two previously calculated differences is calculated, the value (E3) of the indicator depending on distance to zero of previously calculated sum is changed and the indicator (E4) with at least predetermined threshold is compared.
EFFECT: improved fault detection accuracy.
