SUBSTANCE: mud is provided, including water, clay powder, copolymer and a non-ionic water-soluble polysaccharide-NWP, contains Silphoc 2540 as a copolymer, and hydroxyethyl cellulose - as NWP, with the following component ratio, wt %: clay powder 2-3, silicone 2540 3-7, hydroxyethyl cellulose 0.2-0.5, water - the rest, wherein the content of the monomers of diallyldimethylammonium chloride and maleic anhydride in the copolymer Sylphoc 2540 is from 99:1 to 92:8. Alternatively, the inhibiting drilling mud comprises Cylphoc 2540 as a copolymer and starch as NWP, with the following component ratio, wt %: clay powder 2-3, silicone 2540 3-7, starch 0.5-3, water - the rest, wherein the content of the monomers of diallyldimethylammonium chloride and maleic anhydride in the copolymer Sylphoc 2540 is from 99:1 to 92:8.
EFFECT: increasing the inhibitory properties of the mud and ensuring the stability of the structural and rheological parameters of the mud during the swelling clay drilling, minimizing the chemical treatments and operating the mud.
