FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to curved wooden beam-type structures, mainly of glued wood, and can be used for new construction, as well as for strengthening in coatings and floorings of industrial and civil buildings and structures. The wooden beam is made in the form of a pack of glued boards, to the lateral surfaces of which, by means of C-shaped toothed strips, paired frameworks are attached, comprising in their composition longitudinal upper rods, longitudinal lower rods, and inclined rods. The C-shaped toothed strips have teeth in the area of their attachment to the side surfaces of the pack of glued boards and openings on their horizontal faces for attaching by means of nails to the pack of glued boards. The width of the C-shaped toothed strips increases from the middle of the wooden beam to its supports, and their pitch reduces from the supports of the wooden beam to its middle.
EFFECT: increasing the load-carrying capacity and reducing the labour manufacturing intensity and the material consumption of a wooden beam.
